Your Local EWP Hire Depot in Blacktown City

Power Access runs its hire fleet from 1-3 Kenoma Place, Arndell Park. Arndell Park sits inside Blacktown City and shares the 2148 postcode with Blacktown, so a scissor lift, boom lift or cherry picker for a Blacktown job comes from just down the road, not from across Sydney.

Being this close means quick deliveries, easy pickups from the depot and less time waiting on site. The depot is close to the Great Western Highway and the M4 and M7 motorways.

Our hire fleet is maintained in our own workshop at the depot, and our team can talk you through the right lift for the job, whether it is a single day on a shopfront or months on a construction site.

EWPs for Blacktown Jobs

Genie, JLG, Skyjack, Snorkel, Haulotte and Niftylift machines for hire from Arndell Park.

Electric Scissor Lift Hire

Quiet, zero emission and non-marking tyres

For warehouses, shopping centres and offices. Compact models such as the Genie GS-1932 (7.79 m working height) are only 0.81 m wide and fit through standard doorways.

Diesel Scissor Lift Hire

Four wheel drive, rough terrain ready

For outdoor construction sites and new estates. Models include the Genie GS-4390 RT (14.75 m working height) and GS-5390 RT (17.95 m), both with four wheel drive.

Boom Lift and Cherry Picker Hire

Knuckle and telescopic booms

Up, out and over reach for roofs, awnings and building facades. Models include the Genie Z-30/20 N (11.14 m working height) and the JLG 660SJ telescopic boom (22.02 m).

Mast Lift Hire

Small footprint for tight spaces

Vertical mast lifts with compact width and non-marking tyres, such as the Genie GRC-12 (5.66 m working height), for retail fit-outs, ceilings and warehouse aisles.

Which Machine Suits Your Blacktown Job?

Warehouses and distribution centres

The industrial estates in Arndell Park, Huntingwood and Eastern Creek have plenty of warehouses with racking, mezzanines and high ceilings. Electric slab scissor lifts and mast lifts suit this work best: they run quietly indoors, leave no exhaust and their non-marking tyres protect polished floors. See our electric scissor lift hire range.

Shops, schools and offices

Fit-outs and maintenance around Blacktown, Seven Hills and Mount Druitt often mean working through standard doorways and lifts. A compact electric scissor lift such as the Genie GS-1932 or a vertical mast lift fits where larger machines cannot.

New estates in the north-west

Marsden Park, Schofields and Riverstone are still being built, and unsealed ground calls for four wheel drive. Rough terrain models like the Genie GS-2669 RT and GS-4390 RT are built for demanding outdoor sites. See diesel scissor lift hire.

Roofs, awnings and trees

When you need to reach up and over an obstacle, a knuckle boom lift is the right tool. For long straight reach to a facade, a telescopic boom gives the longest straight-line reach. Not sure which one? Call us and describe the job.

Blacktown EWP Hire FAQs

How quickly can you deliver an EWP to Blacktown?

Our depot is in Arndell Park, inside Blacktown City, so most Blacktown sites are a short drive away. Same day delivery is available when the machine is in stock. Call 1300 851 447 to check availability for your dates.

Can I pick up a scissor lift from the Arndell Park depot?

Yes. Call ahead and we will have the machine ready for you at 1-3 Kenoma Place, Arndell Park.

Do I need a council permit to use a boom lift on a Blacktown street?

If the machine or its outriggers will sit on a footpath or road, Blacktown City Council may require a permit or approval before work starts. Check with council early, as approvals can take time.

Do I need a licence to operate a scissor lift or boom lift?

Boom-type EWPs with a boom length of 11 metres or more need a WP class high risk work licence. Read the 11-metre rule for the detail. Scissor lifts and vertical lifts do not need that licence, but operators still need training such as the EWPA Yellow Card.

How much does scissor lift hire cost in Blacktown?

It depends on the machine, the hire period and delivery. Our scissor lift hire rates guide shows typical Sydney prices, or call 1300 851 447 for a quote.
